Franziska Sophia Knogler

Franziska Sophia Knogler is originally from Austria and currently based in Vienna, where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Socio-Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics. Franziska began her involvement in student representation in 2020 and has since built extensive experience at local, national, and international levels .As International Officer of the Austrian Students’ Union (ÖH), she has worked on mobility rights, student support, and inclusive access to education—particularly for refugee and international students. Her passion for social justice, academic freedom, and student empowerment has shaped her engagement both in Austria and across Europe. In the Executive Committee of ESU, Franziska contributes to the organisation’s work on the social dimension of higher education, internationalisation, and student mobility. She is committed to defending education as a democratic right and supporting student communities in the face of increasing repression and inequality.
